\u014ctautahi Animal Refuge (OAR) \u2013 non-profit organisation, established in \u014ctautahi (Christchurch) New Zealand in 2019,; is devoted to creating real lasting change for the lives of domestic pets, through free information and services to our community, we are changing the way we share our lives with our animals.<\/p>\n

Our mission is to enhance the welfare of domestic pets such as rabbits living in Otautahi and New Zealand by educating, advising & supporting owners so that their rabbits can enjoy long, healthy, happy lives; we have a strong focus on having our pet rabbits fixed, vaccinated and as indoor pets as part of the family, much as we do our cat<\/p>\n

Though there maybe thousands of lives we cannot save, by changing how we as a society feel about our domestic pets, we can create a ripple effect changing the lives for countless individuals; because for even one, it can mean everything.<\/em><\/p>\n
